EnterRed.jpg (20551 bytes)Bruce Lee was born in San Francisco in 1940.   Contrary to popular belief, he did not always have such an impressive physique.   Yes, he did have good genetics, in that he was blessed with wide shoulders, a small waist, and low latissimus dorsi muscle insertions, but on the whole, he could never be described as someone who was an "EASY GAINER".

This web site was created for anyone who wants to improve the way their body looks and functions.  The first section will deal with Bruce Lee's actual training philosophy, as well as his training methods and exercises.  The second section deals with what is called the HardGainer philosophy, which I feel is pretty much the ONLY way to train if you are serious about getting results.  The last section on this site is going to be an ongoing process.  It deals with all the infomercials out there that promise to tone you or build huge muscles (with almost no work on your part)..provided of course that you are using their device.  It will also deal with some of the less than scrupulous advertisements that I have seen regarding "magic" pills or "balms" (how can these people face themselves in the mirror?) or whatever that will help you lose weight like it was literally flying off of you.

As you will see in the following sections, one can literally TRAIN and GAIN at a minimum of  three times a week, with each workout taking about 30 minutes each.  I know, I've done it.  Of course, I slowly added other forms of training as I progressed, meaning aerobic training and and stretching, and NOT by doing more sets, reps, or exercises which I believe is one of the biggest misconceptions about weight training out there!

To begin with, let's get one thing straight...there is no way in hell that you are going to be able to transform your body unless you are willing to work hard at it.   By this I mean that if you think you are going to change your body just by reading this article, or that training hard allows you to eat that additional  8 oz. bag of WOW (cooked in Olestra)  potato chipswith no ill effects, than you are just kidding yourself, and you might as well finish off that pint of ice cream too.  I also don't want to see you using a slight drop  in willpower  to throw  all of your hard work out the window...for example:

"Ah rats, I ate 2 slices of pizza for lunch, there goes watching what I eat for today!  I might as well eat that full slab of ribs for dinner as well since I've already blown it ..I'll get back on schedule tomorrow..."

No that's not how it works..you blew it with lunch, don't blow it with dinner...get back on track at once!

Or how many people have been guilty of the following?:

"Well, I missed 2 workouts in a row this week (damn this 105 degree fever and frequent hallucinations!)...I'll just start next week again"  Unfortunately, next week, something else comes up and now you haven't worked out for two weeks, which becomes three, and then a month..etc. etc. (I am kidding of course, don't work out if you feel ill, but some of the actual excuses that I had made...to myself no less...were too pathetic for me to put in print, heh heh)

The point I'm trying to make is:  DON'T LOSE MOMENTUM!!

You will find, as I did, that as you start to see a change in your physique, it becomes easier and easier to ward off temptation, and to be more conscientious about not missing workouts.
